Our team receives you at New Delhi Airport and transfers you to hotel. You spend the remaining day in hotel or just roaming around in New Delhi.
Early morning post breakfast you board on a private transport to Chandigarh. It is a 5 hrs drive on NH – 01. Here we introduce you your next 09 days companion- Royal Enfield 500 CC. Today you drive 120 kms, an easy ride to Shimla. You reach Shimla by evening. While moving towards Shimla, you spot narrow gauge railway tracks. This is mountainous toy train circuit that plies from Shimla to Kalka. Enjoy stories and history of the place over a buffet dinner.
Further to Shimla, you ride towards Sangla town in Kinnaur district, you have halts one the way. By evening tea you we reach Sangla.
Post break-fast, drive your motor bikes to kalpa. Kalpa town is located at 10 kms from Reckong Peo, district headquarters of Kinnaur”. Stay overnight at a camp in Kalpa.
After breakfast, drive your motor-cycle to Nako. Today, we ride on the famous Hindustan-Tibet Highway along the Sutlej River. An asphalt tarmac road with easy riding conditions with beautiful views of the Sutlej, it helps us reach Kalpa comfortably. Kalpa is known for Kinnaur apples orchards. This town is located near to Reckong Peo. In Himalayan range, you explore many spectacular views. It is told that the Himalaya is an adobe of Hindu God Shiva. You experience this in many places and one of the mountains Kinner Kailash indicates the same. You stay overnight at a guest house in Nako.
Post break-fast, we ride north along the narrow valley within which flows the Sutlej River. You can spot green agricultural belts and beyond Nako, you rarely see any greenery. You traverse the barren mountainous road as you enter deep into the high altitude region of Himachal. You ride your beast cautiously and enjoy fully. Now you are about to reach the barren land of Spiti Valley. It takes courage to ride dirt roads sometime, if you find the road. The landscape changes from lush green to rocky, and then to barren, Tabo monastery is founded in 996 AD. This monastery is one of the resourceful monasteries of this region. This monastery was under the patronage of royal family of Western Tibet. This monastery was said to be political pivotal of Ladakh and Spiti region. This monastery holds many ancient scriptures, related to Buddhism. You also ride to Dhankar monastery and Dhankar lake as-well. Dhankar monastery is located at 12,500 feet altitude. You stay overnight at a hotel in Kaza.
Post a healthy breakfast you ride motorcycle from Kaza to the Chandatal Lake where you enjoy the local delicacy. Kaza is sub-divisional head quarter of government offices. Kaza is located at the altitude of 11500 ft. Today you explore and experience the village localities of Hikkim (14,400 feet) village. This village is said as one of the highest altitude populated village. You can send a post card to your home country as a memoir from the highest Post Office in the world (Pin Code 172114). Today’s ride is special in many ways, what with the ever changing landscape which will leave you mesmerized. You ride over Kunzum La (15,050 feet), the highest altitude of the ride. Enjoy the view around the Chandatal Lake, and drive towards Chattru. You stay overnight at a camp in Chattru.
Today you ride on a good conditioned tarmac road to Keylong. Keylong is a district head quarter of Lahaul. You ride along the Chenab River. Once you reach Taandi, you drive along Bhaga River. Keylong is a beautiful and cultural town, located on the bank of Bhaga River. You explore an essence of Buddhism while you walk in the local markets. You stay overnight at a guest house in Keylong.
You start late morning and it takes 4-5 hrs to reach Manali. You pass through Rohtaang, lush green covered in snow. You reach Manali in the afternoon. Check in to the hotel and later in the evening visit to Hot Spring in Vashisht for relaxation. There is a gala dinner and experience sharing season as this is the last night of this journey. Your room is booked till 11:00 AM next day.
Today you have full free day to explore local markets and cultural interventions. Finish the Check-out formalities. Visit mall road and later in the evening, you board on Volvo bus for Delhi. Next day early morning you reach New Delhi.
